There are two categories in the Innovation Awards, one for for larger companies and one for SME (small- and medium sized enterprises), each with one winner. The SME Innovation Award, established in 2004, ensures that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can showcase their groundbreaking developments alongside larger industry players. The primary objective of the ONS Innovation Awards is to promote initiatives that contribute to energy transition across all stages of the value chain.

• The ONS Innovation Awards address energy transition and includes all forms of energy.
• The innovation should have a place in the Net Zero future.
• The ONS Innovation Awards have two categories: one for large companies and one for small- and medium-sized companies (SME). There will be one winner for each category.
