ONS welcome all students and apprentices to ONS this August. However, you don't need to study or work in the energy sector to participate; as long as you're interested in energy, ONS is the place for you.

At the ONS Young stages, you'll get close to business leaders, world leaders, and energy influencers. The mix of energy forms, leadership, technology, innovation, societal debate, and security are just some of the topics you can learn more about with us, and we encourage everyone to join the discussion!

Nora Andersen, Project Manager, ONS Young
At ONS Young, we challenge and explain energy to prepare the new generation of professionals to become leaders and tackle future challenges. That's why we are inviting you to University Day on 26th August, a dedicated day for students followed by a social event in the evening in Stavanger city centre, says Nora Andersen, Project Manager, ONS Young.

The day features several high-profile speakers across three stages, including:

- Anders Opedal, CEO of Equinor

- Lise Klaveness, President, Norwegian Football Federation

- Jan Egeland, Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council

- Karoline Andaur, CEO of WWF Norway

- Andreas Bjelland Eriksen, Minister of Climate and Environment

- Anita Krohn Traaseth, CEO of DSD

- Oda Bjerkan, CEO of UN Global Compact

Our Young programme for ONS 2024 is designed to challenge the status quo, develop your career and network, and learn more about the issues that need solutions within climate change, society, industry, and geopolitics. We let young voices be heard and see the opportunities ahead!

In addition, you are welcome to explore our exhibition, which stretches for a kilometre from end to end. Here, you can meet a potential future employer, see the latest technology in the energy industry, and meet other students from various universities.

Don't forget—our student tickets are completely free, giving you access to the exhibition, ONS Young, Net Zero Markets, Technical Sessions, Centre Court, and our Scale-UPS arena. Welcome!
